Behind the camera, The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent director Tom Gormican will direct this Columbia Pictures venture and co-write the screenplay with Kevin Ayton. Although plot details and the roles of the lead characters remain under wraps, the mystery only adds to the excitement.
For those wondering, this is not a remake of the 1997 cult classic Anaconda. That film starred Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson and Ice Cube as a National Geographic crew trapped by Jon Voight’s unruly hunter and a terrifying giant snake. The new Anaconda promises a fresh spin, filled with scares, laughs and a lot of drama.
