Actor Sreeleela pulled out Akhil Akineni’s Lenin, citing date struggles: reports
Actor Sreeleela has left ‘Lenin’ today due to the struggle after shooting some scenes. Unexpected exit may potentially delay the progression of the film until a suitable replacement for the actor is finalized.

According to reports, actor Serela has left her upcoming film ‘Lenin’. He has allegedly elected to Akhil Akineni’s film due to scheduling conflicts.
The actor, who had already shot parts of the film, supported the project citing date issues, Filmfare Informed Sreeleela informed the film’s team about their prior commitments. Apparently, the shooting of ‘Lenin’ is delayed, he had to respect his former commitments.
Even though the ‘Robinhood’ (2025) actor gave the reasons for his decision, but his exit caused a setback for the manufacturers. The portal quoted a source as saying, “Sreeleela cannot be part of Lenin. The dates allocated for other projects are coming into a conflict with Lenin. However, he again considered and tried to work again on his date diary, things did not become physical.”
While no official statement has been issued from the ‘Lenin’ team, the report states that the discovery of Sreella’s replacement has already begun. His exit can make the shooting slow as efforts were being made to wrap the film as soon as possible.
The title of ‘Lenin’ was released on 8 April, including Akineni’s birthday. Nagarjuna, who co-produced the film, shared the teaser on social media and wrote, “Happy Birthday, Dear Akhil … May the universe can bless you with all your power and glory. (SIC)” (SIC) “
The one minute glimpse provides a dramatic first look of Akineni in a rugged new avatar, indicating a major change from its earlier romantic image. Sreeleela also appeared briefly in the teaser. Akini’s character appears to be inspired by Lord Krishna in the teaser, which connects a mysterious layer in the story.
