It has been more than a decade since the TV show Zindagi Gulzar Hai went on air, but the fan base and popularity that Pakistani actress Sanam Saeed has gained from the show has not diminished even today. The actress, who will soon be seen in Barzakh opposite Fawad Khan, talked about the popularity of the show and why she does not want to do its second part.

Speaking to News18, Sanam said, “A sequel to the same series won’t be able to create the same magic because they are married now. And once Zaroon and Kashf (their characters in the show) get married, it will get boring. They have kids now and I doubt their kids will be the same as before.” no-nonsense Romance.”

“Something that is working well should not be dragged back. I am not a fan of sequels or remakes of something that has already been made. I like to enjoy and cherish those precious moments and shows and move on to the next one,” she added.

Sanam also spoke about sharing screen space with Fawad Khan and said, “We shook hands and are happy to work together again. We prepared ourselves for people’s reaction and tried our best to do something different.”

Apart from Barzakh, the actors will also star together in the much-awaited Netflix show, Jo Bache Hain Sang Samaye Lo.

“People want to see the pairing of Zaroon and Kashf, but the idea was to make it more modern, contemporary and relatable. Zindagi Gulzar Hai released ten years ago and was written ten years ago. You don’t want to repeat the same thing again and again. Today we are different people. We have evolved as human beings and actors,” Sanam concludes.

Meanwhile, Barzakh will be available to stream on YouTube Premium from July 19.
