Actor and dancer Raghav Juyal recently worked in the bloody action film Kill produced by producers Karan Johar and Guneet Monga. Raghav opened up about its reception in the northern and southern markets in a new interview. The actor said that the film did better in the south.

Speaking to YouTube channel Digital Commentary, Raghav said, “Kill was doing better in the South than in the North. What happens here is that we do hashtag boycott Bollywood. But when the time comes to watch the film, no one comes. People do not go to the theatre to watch Gali Guliyaan type films, then you have the right to sit on the internet and write boycott etc. But when you step out of the house. You can see the same in the South, in Malayalam cinema, Aavesham, Manjummel Boys, what kind of thinking is this. And our films are becoming hits in the South (The reception of Kill in the South has been better than the North. People in our cities are busy boycotting the film on social media platforms. But when the film finally releases they don’t step out of their homes to watch it. You can share your opinions, but at least watch the film first. Now, look at the kind of films they make in the South, especially Malayalam cinema, be it Aavesh or Manjummel Boys).”

,It has been more than a month since Kill was released, but it is still running there. Bachchan sahab, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Akshay Kumar will all be there with us, so I am very happy that people will still watch our movie “It’s been more than a month since Kill released, but people are still watching it in the South. It’s still running in theatres. Big stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan and Akshay Kumar released their films around the time of Kill. So, I am thankful that people are still watching Kill,” Juyal said.
