He further said, “Deepika is a new mother; she needs time, and she asked for it. The person on the other side did not accept it, so it did not work. If Deepika wanted the film so badly and was ready to make other arrangements, she must have accepted it, but she was not, and she is her personal choice.
Asked if the other filmmaker will accommodate Deepika’s eight-hour work shift request, Madhu said, “I ask for something, you don’t want to give it, and then you let me go. Very badly, you compromise. It’s a personal choice.
After the birth of her first child, Deepika was reportedly out of Vanga’s ‘Atma’. According to reports, he had requested an eight -hour working day, shared in the benefit of the film, and exemption from Telugu dialogues.
