Actor, karate specialist Shihan Hussaini dies in Chennai after battling blood cancer
Actor and karate expert Shohan Hussaini died on 25 March in a private hospital in Chennai. He was undergoing treatment for advanced blood cancer for the last few weeks.

Actor, karate and archery expert Shihan Hussaini died after battling blood cancer in the early hours of Tuesday. His family confirmed the news of his passage on Facebook. His body will be kept under high command, to pay tribute to his residence, family, public and students in Besant Nagar in Chennai. Later, his body will be taken to Madurai, where the funeral will be performed.
Hussaini is alive by his wife and daughter. “I am very sad to say that Hu has left us. Hu will be in high command, his residence in Besant Nagar till Sham (SIC),” a Facebook post of his family read.
His family also requested his students, archers, parents and coaches to pay tribute to the arrow by shooting and performing the arrow. Catas,
Hussaini was documenting his cancer journey by constantly updating her social media pages. Seeing his posts, the Tamil Nadu government provided financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh for its cancer treatment. Before his death, Hussaini announced his decision to donate his body for medical research.
She made her acting debut in 1986 with Kamal Haasan’s Punnagai Mannan. He then became part of Rajinikanth’s Velikaran, bloodstone in other Tamil films. Vijay’s Badri saw him playing the role of a karate coach. Some of his final acting undertakings were Kathaukula Randu Kadal of Vijay Sethupathi and gangsters from Chennai city.
Apart from acting in films, he also appeared as a judge and a presenter in several reality shows.
Shihan Hussaini was a multi -faceted man who demonstrated his expertise in Combat Sports, Sculpting, Martial Arts and Archery.
