Actor Julian McMahon dies at 56 after a long battle with cancer

Julian McMahon, the charismatic Australian-American actor, who is known for his roles in NIP/Tuck, Chrammed, and Fantastic Four, has died at the age of 56 after a prolonged fight with cancer.
His wife, Kelly McMahon, confirmed the news in a heartfelt statement for the deadline.
“Julian died peacefully this week after a courageous fight to defeat cancer,” he said. “He accepted life, his work, his fans and at the top, his family. We ask that you give us privacy at this time of sorrow and ask all those who nurtured Julian to find happiness in life, as he did.”
McMahon was the son of former Australia Prime Minister Sir William McMahon, who served in the office between 1971 and 1972.
