Veteran actor Govind Namdev, who has been a part of films like Oh My God and Wanted, had earlier shared a picture with 30-year-old actor Shivangi Verma. The post quickly went viral, with the internet speculating that they were probably in a romantic relationship due to the caption. Now, the senior actor has posted a clarification.

The 70-year-old actor shared a picture with Varma, and captioned the post, “‘Love has no age and no limits.’ Needless to say, the caption caused drama, with the internet speculating that they might be dating. Many people even started questioning him, especially since Namdev is a married man.

The actor today changed the caption to clarify that this is a picture from the shooting of his upcoming film Gaurishankar Gauharganj Wale. He wrote in Hindi, “This is not real life, this is reel life.” There is a film “Gaurishankar Gauharganj Wale”, which we are shooting in Indore. This is the story plot of the same film. There’s an old man in it.” falls in love with a young actress. As far as I am concerned, it is not possible to love a person young or old in this life.” This was followed by a poem written for his wife Sudha Namdev. Here is the post:

Govind Namdev is an alumnus of the National School of Drama and passed out in 1978. He has worked in many films and television shows. He was also a part of Sam Bahadur, which released in 2023.
