Achyut potdar dies: Aamir Khan, Boman Irani 3 gives final honors to the co-star of Idiots

Actor Aamir Khan mourned the death of his ‘3 Idiots’ co-star Achut Potter. His production house shared a heartfelt note remembering the 91 -year -old experienced actor on his Instagram story.
Aamir Khan Productions post read, “I am very sad to hear about passing by Achutiji. He was a wonderful actor, a wonderful person and a great ally. We will remember you Achutji. My heartfelt condolences to his family.”
Actor Boman Irani, who also portrayed in ‘3 Idiots’, shared an emotional note on his Instagram story, reading, “With deep respect, remembering Achaut Potter ji. A true gentleman and a memorable artist. My heartiest condolences.”
Potter played the role of an engineering professor in director Rajkumar Hirani’s ‘3 Idiots’. While Aamir played the role of his student, Boman depicted the principal of the college. He showed more than 125 films in Hindi and Marathi cinema. In addition to ‘3 Idiots’, his filmography includes acclaim titles such as ‘Aakrosh’, ‘Ard Truth’, ‘Tejab’, and ‘Parinda’.
Potter’s contribution, however, proceeded far beyond the larger screen. He left his mark on Indian television with shows like ‘Wagle Ki Dunia’ and ‘India Ki Khoj’.
Potter breathed his last at Jupiter Hospital in Thane, where he was admitted with health complications.
The exact cause of his death has not been revealed; However, age related issues are being cited. His last rites will be held in Thane on 19 August.
