Television actor Abhinav Shukla allegedly received a threatening message on Instagram from a person claiming to be a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. The message recently gave a reference to the shooting incident which included Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, which created serious concerns for Shukla’s safety. This threat was threatened after actor Rubina Dilik attended a verbal change with rapper Asim Riyaz on the show ‘Batalground’ show.

According to the images and clips shared on Shukla’s X handle, the danger was sent directly to his social media account, warning him of possible damage. He was sent by a social media user named Ankush Gupta.

A part of the danger reads, “I am from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. I know your address. Should I come? Like Salman Khan was shot, I will come to your house and shoot you with AK -47,” I will shoot, “read message (translated).

Sandesh took a deep turn as the sender issued threats not only to Shukla but also to his family and security staff, claiming to have detailed knowledge of their daily movements. “Consider this on your final warning. Say anything about Asim, and your name goes to the list. Lawrence Bishnoi stands with Asim,” said Sandesh.

Abhinav Shukla also shared a screen recording of the Instagram profile, belonging to the person who reportedly sent him a danger, stating that the user appears to be located in Chandigarh. Tagging the Punjab and Chandigarh police in his post, the actor appealed for Swift Action. “My family was threatened with death!” He has written.

“@Dgppunjabpolice @punjabpoliceind @dgpchdpolice @Chdpol – That person feels from Chandigarh or Mohali. Please take immediate and strict action. If anyone can identify this person, please report them (SIC).”

The actor later revealed that online misuse was not limited to him – his wife, actor Rubina Dilik, was also under a barrage of aggressive messages from a part of Asim Riaz’s fanbase. The actor posted several screenshots, showing disgusting DM and comments directed in his family.

The friction between Rubina and Asim began during her tenure as a panelist on ‘Batalground’, where both often found themselves on obstacles. Asim often questioned Rubina’s credibility on the show, and boiled tension during a warm exchange, in which she allegedly made derogatory remarks to her on-camera.

When a fan later asked Abhinav to weigh Asim’s behavior towards Rubina, he did not return – responding with a pointed tweet that wrote: “All (syringe image) are not a sign of jack, no brain and bad attitude fitness (SIC).”

The Lawrence Bishnoi gang made headlines in the past for alleged involvement in high-profile criminal activities, including releasing threats to famous celebrities. Officials are expected to pay attention to the matter and take necessary steps to ensure Shukla’s safety.
