After 70 days of intense shooting, Aamir Khan Productions’ ‘Lahore 1947’ is officially complete. Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi and featuring a stellar cast including Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta, the film is set to be the biggest film of the year.

The production completed its rigorous schedule without any breaks. A source close to the team revealed, “The shoot of Lahore 1947 has been completed after an intense 70-day schedule. The schedule was completed without any breaks. It was great to see the veteran actors bringing a magical quality to the film. There will be some patchwork after the edit is locked, but the main shoot has been completed. Raj ji (Santoshi) is thrilled with what has been captured, especially the elaborate crowd scenes.”

In a recent update, the grand finale of the film has been revealed to include a spectacular train sequence, which is being considered as the most ambitious and elaborate scene ever in any film set in the Partition era. This climax scene is expected to set new standards of visual storytelling.
