Actor Aamir Khan dismissed ‘Swedes’ before the introduction of Shah Rukh Khan. He said that he found it boring and still has not seen it. Aamir also shared that he told the film’s director Ashutosh Govarkar that if he contains a great message in a boring manner, it will not work.

‘Swads’ was directed and produced by Ashutosh Gowariker and included in the lead roles along with Shah Rukh Khan along with Gayatri Joshi, Kishori Ballal, Daya Shankar Pandey, Rajesh Vivek and Lekh Tandon. The film was released on 17 December 2004. It revolved around the story of a person who set up a micro-hydroelectric project in a village to generate electricity.
The rural drama characterized by SRK as a scientist won two National Film Awards. Shah Rukh Khan also received the Filmfare Award in the Best Actor Category. Meanwhile, AR Rahman won the award in the best background score category.
Aamir Khan is ready for the release of his upcoming film ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’ on 20 June. The film sheds light on neurodivarian children and is a spiritual sequel to the 2007 film Taare Zameen Paar.
