Aamir Khan Postpons Sitare Laga Paar trailer launch amidst Indo-Pak tension

Actor Aamir Khan has postponed the trailer release of his upcoming film ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’ amidst the Indo-Pakistan border tension. The decision reflects a call for national unity during solidarity and sensitive time with the armed forces.

Amidst the growing across action between India and Pakistan, actor Aamir Khan has decided to pursue the trailer release of his upcoming film ‘Sitare Zameen Paar’. Earlier, a popular film production house, Madock Films, had canceled the dramatic release of Rajkumar Rao’s upcoming film ‘Bhu Chu Chhop’, directed to a digital drop on prime video.

According to sources, Aamir Khan’s production team decided keeping in mind the events on the country’s borders and the subsequent nationwide warnings.

A source close to the production house said that they have solidarity with the armed forces that are protecting the nation. He said that the team, as responsible citizens, believed that it was important to maintain unity and restraint many times.

The trailer of the film was earlier scheduled to release on May 8, and sources suggest that the producers were considering launching it in the weekend. However, now, Aamir Khan and the team have decided to postpone it. While there is speculation that the film may also see a delay in release, so far there is no official confirmation from the producers.

Apart from this, Genelia D’Suza and a group of children are also directed by RS Prasanna. The film Khan’s 2007 hit film, ‘Taare Zameen Paar’, is a spiritual sequel.

‘Sitare Zameen Paar’ has been slated to hit the cinema hall on 20 June.
