In a new interview with BBC News, Aamir Khan discussed his career plans and revealed that he is focusing on a new passion of learning Indian classical singing. Khan, known for playing his characters brilliantly, said that he is learning from a guru and is enjoying the experience.
He said, “Well, I’ve started learning Indian classical singing with my guru, and he’s amazing. I enjoy learning with him; it’s therapeutic when you learn singing.”
Addressing his plans related to film production and acting, the Danagal actor said that he is looking forward to producing more films and using them as an opportunity to bring out new talent. Additionally, the actor said that he will focus on acting in one film a year, unlike his previous pattern of acting in 1 film in 3 to 4 years.
In his previous interviews, the actor also shared that during the pandemic, when he had completed half of the shooting of his film Laal Singham Chaddha, he decided to leave the film industry after that as he wanted to spend all his time with his family. Wanted to spend.
However, his family convinced him to continue working with a better balance and he is trying to achieve it. Furthermore, Khan along with his daughter Ira Khan has been actively expressing his experience related to his mental health journey to create awareness about it among the public.
On the work front, Aamir Khan was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha and he is focusing on making good films. He produced ‘Missing Ladies’, India’s official entry to the Oscars, directed by Kiran Rao and starring Sparsh Srivastava, Nitanshi Goyal, Pratibha Ranta and Ravi Kishan in pivotal roles.
As a result, the actor is busy promoting the film in the West. Khan will next be seen in Sitare Zameen Par alongside Genelia D’Souza and Darsheel Safary.
