Priyanka Gandhi criticized war in Gaza, Israeli messenger to India hits back
A diplomatic exchange parliament member has come to the fore between Priyanka Gandhi and the Israeli messenger. Priyanka Gandhi has consistently supported Palestine, alleging a massacre by Israel. The Israeli messenger replied, showing Hamas’s sympathy and “cheating is shameful.” Priyanka Gandhi claimed that Israel killed around 60,000 people, including children, while the messenger said that she neutralized the extremists of Hamas, in which Hamas hid behind the children. This is an unprecedented example of a diplomat that directly responds to an Indian member of Parliament. Priyanka Gandhi has maintained her stand on the Palestine issue for almost two years, including public performance of solidarity. The Israeli ambassador used a strong language, which defends the Israeli military operation in Gaza with the aim of eliminating Hamas. The situation raises questions about the possible response of the Government of India, especially India, recently voted in favor of a ceasefire in Gaza.
