After a long wait and a false start, a UI 7 (based on Android 15) is finally rolling out in new markets including India. It begins with recent flagship models: Galaxy S24, S24+ and S24 Ultra, Galaxy Z Flip6 and Z fold6 (but not S24 Fe).

You can check the official timeline for India, with warnings that it is subject to change when there is a problem during the rollout. Galaxy S24 Fe Owners will get their updates in May, as the Galaxy S23 (including FE) owners. Foldables below Z Flip3 and Z Fold3 are also prescribed for release all May.
The update for the eligible mid-rangers eligible in A, M and F series will begin in June. Some models will have to wait by July, however.
This is not just India, by the way. In Samsung community forums, we have seen a UI7 report from Bangladesh, Nepal and Middle East. Other regions such as South Korea and Europe have started updates in the last few weeks, stopping and resume.
See a UI 7 Changlog for observation of what is new in this major upgrade in Samsung’s software.
