How to control blood sugar levels? Here are 4 easy food hacks:

1. Bread

Carbohydrates have high bread, which is why it increases blood sugar levels faster. But there is good news here: You can avoid it. How? Ralston suggested toast a slices of bread or to get it to freeze and then toast it before consuming it. By doing this, the glycemic index can be about half low, as more resistant starch is formed.

2. Banana

If you are a banana lover, consider the swap of yellow ripe banana for green uncontrolled people. In this way, you can enjoy banana without worrying about producing spikes in your blood sugar levels. Ralston says that the intake of uncontrolled bananas can give you 20 times more resistant starch than ripe bananas. They cannot taste as sweet, but you do not have to worry about Chinese spikes.

3. white rice

Diabetic patients are often recommended to limit the intake of high-GI foods such as white rice. According to the fitness coach, if you first cook the rice and then cool it, it increases the resistant starch. When this happens, the glycemic index of white rice decreases, resulting in low blood sugar. What is more, you can also absorb less calories.

4. Potato

Like white rice, resistant starch in potatoes also increases when first cooked and then reflects. Also, the glycemic index of potato is reduced. Doing this will not only help regulate your blood sugar levels, but will also support better intestinal health by feeding beneficial intestine bacteria.
