Amaran box office day 4: Sivakarthikeyan’s film collects Rs 150 crore globally

Sivakarthikeyan’s Amaran has grossed over Rs 150 crore worldwide and is running successfully in theatres. Directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, the film is a biopic on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, who was killed on the field in Kashmir in 2014.

Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi’s Amaran has crossed the Rs 150 crore mark globally in just four days. The film, directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy, has been receiving positive reviews from critics and audiences alike. The four-day opening weekend was spectacular for Amaran as it became one of the best performing films in Sivakarthikeyan’s career. Now, all eyes are on Amaran’s performance on weekdays.

Amraan released in theaters on 31 October amid great anticipation. The film is a biopic based on Major Mukund Varadarajan, who was killed on the field during a mission in Shopian, Kashmir in 2014.

Trade analyst Ramesh Bala, in his post on X, confirmed that the film entered the Rs 150 crore (gross) club worldwide in just four days. The positive buzz is helping the film grow theatrically.

The fourth day (3 November) collection was equal to the first day collection at the domestic box office. According to tracking website SacnilkThe film reportedly grossed Rs 21.50 crore in India. On the fourth day, the film earned a net worth of Rs 21.40 crore nationwide.

In terms of net collection, Amran will soon join the Rs 100 crore club in India. On 3 November, the Tamil version of Amaran recorded an occupancy of 84.61 percent, while the Telugu version recorded 76.34 percent.

The biographical war film is an adaptation of Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh’s book series, India’s Most Fearless: True Stories of Modern Military Heroes. A chapter in one of the three books details a mission undertaken by Major Mukund Varadarajan.

Jointly produced by Raj Kamal Films International and Sony Pictures Films India, the film stars Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi, Bhuvan Arora, Rahul Bose, Lallu, Sreekumar, Shyam Mohan, Geetha Kailasam, Umair Ibn Latif and many more.
