Mardaani 3 registered a good growth of 20 percent on its first Tuesday. The police action drama grossed approximately Rs. 2.50 crores, earning of 5 days is Rs. lead up to. Earning Rs 21.35 crore at the Indian box office. The Rani Mukherjee starrer now needs to perform very strongly on Wednesday. Moreover, it should aim not to go below Rs. 2 crore figure tomorrow. The Rani Mukherjee starrer film saw a jump in its earnings on Tuesday due to discount in ticket fares. However, this will be less than the collection made by Mardaani 2 in the first week. However, it still has the potential to surpass the final queue of Mardaani 2 if it continues to gain momentum in the second and third weeks.
One thing that has been going wrong with films recently is that the costs have increased a lot. The film Keema Mardaani 3, released a few years ago, has done well in this regard as the film has been made on a controlled budget. Although it costs twice as much as Mardaani 2, it is still quite manageable if the film gets the right response, as the non-theatrical collections are also quite good. The fact that the film got a respectable opening on Friday made things even better.
