Kalamkaval is set in the early 2000s and tells the story of a group of police officers assigned to investigate a missing person’s case in a border village between Kerala and Tamil Nadu. As the Special Investigation Team arrives, conflict between communities and public unrest arising from allegations of elopement of the victim create a tense atmosphere for the police.
The situation changed drastically when the police team led by SI Jayakrishnan started noticing a recurring pattern. Over time, they discover that several women, divorced, widowed or single, have disappeared, with clues pointing to a single man.
Realizing that the missing person’s case is only the tip of the iceberg, Jayakrishnan and his team embark on a cat-and-mouse chase against the prime suspect, Stanley Das. Do they succeed in capturing him or does he manage to escape justice, forms the crux of the story.

As the group hatches a plan to transport a dead body to a specific location in exchange for money, the plan goes ridiculously wrong, trapping them in a series of unexpected and chaotic situations. The film tells the story of how things go out of control and whether they manage to escape in time.

Bha Bha Ba begins with the kidnapping of CK Joseph, the newly elected Chief Minister of Kerala, by a man who identifies himself as a “commoner”. After kidnapping the CM, he goes to his hideout and urges citizens to give their complaints in writing so that he can deliver them directly to the minister.
As chaos ensues following the CM’s disappearance, a group of police officers led by Joseph’s son, Noble, attempt to capture the commoner and uncover his identity. It is eventually revealed that the common man is Ram Damodar, also known as Radar, who is suffering from some mental health conditions.
What follows is a spoof-filled action-comedy story that explores why Radar kidnaps the Chief Minister, whether they have an old connection, and who Radar’s mentor, Gilli Babu, really is.
