7 of the top 10 most valuable companies have a market cap of Rs. 2 lakh crore loses; TCS is behind the top

Last week the combined market valuation of seven of the top 10 most valued companies, Tata Consultancy Services and Reliance Industries, were the biggest laggards with the bearish trend in equities. 2 lakh crore was reduced.

Last week, the BSE benchmark Sensex was down 1,829.33 points or 2.33 percent and the NSE Nifty was down 455.6 points or 1.87 percent.

“Markets ended lower after two consecutive weeks of gains, weighed down by heightened geopolitical tensions and weak earnings commentary from IT majors,” Ajit Mishra – SVP, Research, Religare Broking Ltd, said.

Global developments continued to dominate market direction, with the West Asian crisis and supply disruption concerns keeping crude oil prices high, he added.

Seven of the top-10 most valuable companies have a combined market value of Rs. 2,05,343.06 crore was reduced.

      Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has a market valuation of Rs. 66,699.44 crore reduced to Rs. 8,67,364.12 crores.

      Reliance Industries received from its valuation Rs. 50,670.34 crore was lost, which was Rs. 17,96,647.50 crores.

      HDFC Bank is valued at Rs. 23,090.05 crore reduced to Rs. 12,08,225.48 crore and Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) was valued at Rs. 19,670.75 crore reduced to Rs. 5,13,020.56 crores.

      Bharti Airtel’s market capitalization (mcap) is Rs. 19,406.59 crores down to Rs. 11,05,718.62 crores.

      ICICI Bank’s mcap is Rs. 14,663.27 crore reduced to Rs. 9,50,345.40 crore and Larsen & Toubro Rs. 11,142.62 crore reduced to Rs. 5,52,171.88 crores.

      However, Hindustan Unilever is valued at Rs. 20,652.91 crore increased to Rs. 5,47,219.80 crores.

      MCap of State Bank of India Rs. 19,522.76 crore increased to Rs. 10,16,752.53 crore and Bajaj Finance has a market cap of Rs. 8,253.64 crore increased to Rs. 5,73,690.81 crores.

      Reliance Industries remained the most valued domestic company followed by HDFC Bank, Bharti Airtel, State Bank of India, ICICI Bank, TCS, Bajaj Finance, Larsen & Toubro, Hindustan Unilever and LIC.
