When Rajinikanth was insulted by a manufacturer
For those people, Rajinikanth once recalled an derogatory moment in his life during the Durbar Audio launch. Speaking at the event, the superstar explained how he was offered a positive character in another actor’s film, and the remuneration of Rs 6000 was finalized.
The actor who was not a superstar at that time agreed to the salary and asked for Rs 100 or 200 as advance. However, the manufacturer avoided paying the amount and assured that it would be given to him on the day of the shoot.
On the first day of shooting, Rajankanth was asked to place on his makeup, but refused to implement until an advance was paid. The actor said, “The production manager told me that the hero had come and asked me to sit for makeup. I refused. I told him that I would not proceed without 1000 rupees.”
Knowing this, the producer became furious and insulted Rajinikanth, refused to give him a role in the film and dropped the actor out of the house by himself.
The superstar said, “When I realized that if I do not return to AVM Studio in a foreign car, I am not Rajinikanth.”
Eradicating his words of Prerna, the cool actor revealed how he fulfilled the promise himself, appeared in the same AVM Studio with the numberplate 5004 at the same AVM Studio in his Italian Fiat, smoked a cigarette and saw Regal.
