Champion follows Michael Williams, an aspiring football player from Secunderabad in Hyderabad state, which was ruled by the Nizams during the 1940s.
Working in a bakery, Michael’s only ambition is to travel to England and become a successful football star. When he finally gets the opportunity to join a football club in London, his father’s past becomes an obstacle, preventing him from entering the country.
Desperate to reach England, Michael agrees to deliver the illegal cargo. During the journey, he reaches a village called Bairanpalli, where the villagers are actively fighting against the rule of the Nizams and Razakars. The film shows what happens to the villagers after Michael joins the conflict, and whether he ultimately achieves his dream.

While assisting Rupesh in religious rituals, Prabhendu participates only for the money, as he does not believe in them.
Prabhendu’s life takes an unexpected turn when he encounters a ghost that only he can see. The spirit, who does not remember his origins, calls himself Delulu, a Gen-Z ghost who is unaware of his past. As her presence causes confusion and chaos, the two form a lovely bond, which prompts Prabhendu to uncover Delulu’s true identity.

Va Vaathiyar follows DSP Rameswaran, also known as Ramu, a police officer who was raised by his grandfather to follow the ideals and principles of the late MG Ramachandran (MGR). A staunch follower of MGR, his grandfather considers Ramu as the great actor’s spiritual successor and constantly urges him to stand up for justice.
Although Rameswaran initially attempts to maintain these values, he eventually becomes another part of a corrupt system, and allies himself with powerful and shady individuals.
As his life progresses, Ramu unknowingly develops an alter ego named Vaathiyar, who embodies MGR’s ideals and fights against injustice. How this vigilante destroys the criminal network and whether Ramu ultimately embraces the values that his grandfather taught him forms the core story of the film.
