Currently, among the web shows streaming on many OTT platforms, there are some that are either based on incidents that shake the countrymen or what is wrong in the society. Such plays on social issues are often associated with the audience, leaving them to the end of the show.

1. Black warrant

Manufactured by Vikramaditya Motavane and Satyanshu Singh, Black Warrant is a crime drama TV series. The thriller is based on the 2019 non-fiction book, titled ‘Black Warrant: Confessions of a Tihar Jailor’ was penned by Sunil Gupta and Sunitra Chaudhary. The Netflix series stars Rahul Bhat, Paramavir Singh Cheema and Anurag Thakur with Zahan Kapoor.
2. Dahad

The 2023 crime thriller series shows how a female policeman fights social expectations to catch Sylinide Mohan, who hunt on women looking to get married. Dahad also shows to eradicate the cast-based prejudice of a female officer who still faces in the society. Under the leadership of Sonakshi Sinha, Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar Creation also include Gulshan Devaiya, Vijay Verma and Soham Shah.
3. Delhi crime

Richie Mehta’s Delhi crime showed the 2012 Delhi gang rape, which shook the entire country. The police procedural crime drama stars Sheffly Shah, Rasika Dugal, Adil Hussain and Rajesh Telung. In the second season, the manufacturers focused on a criminal gang Chadi Banian gang, which wreaked havoc in the society. If you have not yet seen the Delhi crime, take it as a sign!
4. Scam 1992 – The Harshad Mehta Story

Those who know about the 1992 Indian stock market scam will be related to the 1992 scam-Harshad Mehta Kahani. It is a biography financial thriller, directed by Hansal Mehta and presents Pratik Gandhi as hero Harshad Mehta. He has joined Shreya Dhanwantari, Satish Kaushik, Anant Mahadevan, Rajat Kapoor and many others.

Where to see: Jio Hotstar
This 2022 Medical thriller chain throws light on the dark world of human testing and many medical scams that are detected. Manav is a 10-episode series including Shefali Shah, Kirti Kulhari, Vishal Jethwa, Ram Kapoor, Mohan Agashe, Seema Biswas and Aditya Srivastava.
