Welcome to the Jungle received a UA 16+ certificate after the censor board ordered 18 cuts and changes. Revisions removed politically sensitive dialogue and toned down erotic scenes before the film’s June 26 release.

As welcome to the jungle Finally ready for release after facing several production delays, the film has undergone significant modifications at the hands of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). The comedy entertainer directed by Ahmed Khan has been given a UA 16+ certificate but after the board asked for 18 cuts and changes, including removing references to Kashmir and editing some scenes featuring Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez.

Apart from these dialogue modifications, the censor board also directed the producers to remove erotic content. It included bikini shots, close-up views of women’s hips, and some hip-movement sequences in one song. The board also demanded the removal of some erotic shots of Disha Patani and Jacqueline Fernandez. Additionally, a scene showing obscene hand gestures was replaced with a close-up shot of actor Vindu Dara Singh.
After implementation of the requested changes, welcome to the jungle Its censor certificate was granted on 20 June. According to the certification details, the film has a runtime of 164.50 minutes, which is equivalent to 2 hours, 44 minutes and 50 seconds.
The film, which has a huge cast led by Akshay Kumar, also stars Sunil Shetty, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Farida Jalal, Johnny Lever, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor and Rajpal Yadav.
