Rumors of a secret marriage have been rife for the past few weeks. So when the star was seen with a gold band instead of her engagement ring, speculations ran high and now her recent appearance at the 19th annual Essence Black Women in Hollywood event held in Los Angeles has piqued everyone’s interest as the 29-year-old giggled at being called ‘Mrs. Holland’.
Zendaya reacts to the possibility of marrying Tom Holland without telling anyone
Since the rumors of her wedding to Tom Holland, the actress has stuck to wearing a white dress, which is not unusual for Zendaya but is also very on-brand for her as a confirmation of a potential wedding. During an appearance in the US on Thursday, the actress laughed when the paparazzi called her ‘Mrs. Holland’, which she neither confirmed nor denied.
Later, while sitting in the audience, she was asked for a hint about whether the rumors of them getting married in secret were true, and she simply laughed, covering her face with her hands, and revealing her much-discussed gold band in the process.
Earlier, her stylist, Law Roach, took the internet by storm when he revealed that everyone had ‘missed’ her wedding and it had already taken place. However, the couple is yet to announce anything officially about tying the knot secretly.
Tom Holland and Zendaya have been dating for several years now, after meeting on the set of Spider-Man, keeping their PDA minimal but strong. The couple, who appeared on each other’s sets to show support during filming, have not been seen together since speculations of their secret marriage started flying around.
