Bollywood icon Zeenat Aman has started the year by sharing a glimpse of her favorite everyday joys. In an Instagram post, the famous actor highlighted some of his favorite things, from sentimental heirlooms to beloved small businesses, while also encouraging followers to share their recommendations.

She began the post with, “A new year and an opportunity to share a post celebrating some of my favorite things! (sic)”

Among the things she treasured most was an ancient heirloom. Reflecting on its significance, Aman revealed, “My mother was completely secular and completely religious in conduct, something that has become quite rare. So this piece has a lot of emotional significance for me.”

Aman’s post also included a warm note for his fans where he wrote, “My nutritionist will be pleased if you give up the chocolate, but feel free to feed me fresh flowers. I especially like orchids; They last a very long time and are very beautiful. An unexpected benefit of being ‘famous’ is that I never have to buy flowers! “I always have a bouquet or two sent to me.”

Adding a touch of nostalgia, Aman showcased her signature style with hoop earrings and fragrance, expressing her enduring love for 70s fashion. “I am totally devoted to hoops and have hoop earrings in every size. Maybe it’s because I’m a 70s girl at heart? (sic)” he thought.

She also wrote, “This was an Instagram discovery! I’m a little wary of ordering things online but I took the risk and have been carrying these bags for over a year now. I’m glad to know that the brand – Kadamhat – is a social enterprise. Their bags are very useful and won’t burn a hole in your wallet.”

Aman wrote at the end of his post, “Should we take this post as a beautiful opportunity for all of you to tag your favorite small business in the comments? I definitely prefer verbal recommendations to what algorithms and AI teach me!”

Zeenat Aman will next be seen in two films – Bun Tikki and The Royals. She will be seen with Abhay Deol and Shabana Azmi in Ban Tikki. The film had its world premiere at the 36th Palm Springs International Film Festival 2025 (January 5). The film will be directed by Faraz Arif Ansari and will revolve around a child named Sanu and his single father Siddhant.
