1. Give up on the best foods:

Diet regimes can be tough at times, resulting in irregularity, skipping meals, etc. According to the nutritionist, “If you can’t eat exactly as per your plan, the world won’t come to an end. Instead of giving up and not making any progress, ask yourself – what are the best choices I can make now?” This means, instead of completely giving up your indulgences, choose healthier ways to make your meals weight loss friendly.

2. Understand the difference between failure and giving up:

Believe me, no plan is perfect. We all make mistakes in our healthy diet regime. But, according to Simran Chopra, it is important to learn from the mistakes, correct them, and keep moving forward. And this is always better than giving up on your journey altogether. “When we give up, we make zero progress. There is no hope of achieving anything,” she explains.

3. Remind yourself that there is no such thing as “perfection”:

“We can’t be perfect; we can be satisfied with where we are and get better if we want to. But yes, everything can always be improved,” she says, adding that you should take your routine one day at a time and not get overwhelmed by the changes. “Just focus on doing your best today,” she adds.
