Note that Wi-Fi functionality is available only on a version of buds, Phantom Black One, the other two colors can only Bluetooth.
Xiaomi Buds 5 Pro has dual dacs and dual amps that power two drivers. The frequency reaction is in the range of 15Hz to 50KHz and the audio was given more details in the middle and high frequencies with the help of Harman’s Golden Year team.
With three microphones on the board, these earbuds claim 55 dB active noise (ANC) and can cancel high air speed (up to 15 m/second). According to the company, they have the power of noise reduction compared to Xiaomi Buds 4 Pro.
Battery life is interesting-it is to listen to 8 consecutive hours on Bluetooth, but goes on Wi-Fi for 10 hours. With the charging case, the total hearing time is 40 hours. Both wired and wireless charging are supported.
The buds are rated IP54 for dust and water resistance. They support audio sharing (two pair of buds connect with a phone). The stem on the buds is both touching and pressure sensitive, so you can control the volume by slipping your finger or squeeze them with two fingers (this action is optimized).
