Xiaomi has officially announced that it will unveil the Redmi Note 15 Pro series in China on August 21. The lineup will include two models, Redmi Note 15 Pro and Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus. The company has also released images of the Pro Plus model, which can expect buyers.

The Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus comes with a new design that still carries some familiar elements from previous note devices. Back, the center has a large round camera house with three sensors inside. The primary camera will be a 50-megapixel unit with optical image stabilization. Xiaomi says that the phone has a curved frame and a curved screen, which makes it more comfortable to hold it and also gives it a premium look.

On the performance front, Note 15 Pro Plus has been seen at Geekbench under Model No. 2510Ra8BC. The listing suggests that it will run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7S General 4 chipset, one step above 7S General 3 that operates the last model. It scored 1228 in single-core and 3230 in multi-core tests and was seen with 16GB RAM. While the new chip improves performance on its predecessor, it is still less than Snapdragon 7 General 4.

The device has also approved China’s 3C certification, confirming that it would support 90W fast charging. Another Redmi device with model number 25104RADAC has appeared with support for beidou satellite text messaging. This Redmi Note 15 Pro Plus is expected to be launched as a satellite version, which will make it the company’s first phone with satellite communication capacity.

Along with the launch of China, Redmi is also making an important release for India. The brand has confirmed that the Redmi 15 5G will be launched in the country on August 19, two days before the start of the Note 15 Pro series. The program will be streamful live on YouTube and the update will be shared in the company’s social channels.

Redmi 15 5G is already drawing attention to its battery and performance specifications. It is confirmed to pack a huge 7,000mAh battery, the largest in its category. The handset will have a 6.9 -inch screen with 144Hz refresh rate and 288hz touch sampling rate. The company says that this will be the most eye -friendly performance in the segment. The panel is expected to be a full HD+ LCD and will also support wet touch technology 2.0, making the screen easier to use with wet hands.

In terms of hardware, the phone will be operated by Snapdragon 6s General 3 processor. It will run on the Hyperose 2.0 of Xiaomi built on Android 15. Buyers can expect up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Redmi has also confirmed that the handset will come with some AI-based features, including to find Google’s circle.

With two large launch within a single week, Xiaomi is aimed at both premium mid-range buyers and in India looking for a 5G phone in India.
