Xiaomi 15 Ultra is here and it maintained the main values that made its predecessor great! It is beautifully made, and has the latest chipset, while adding a large battery and already improved a kicks camera system.
The new Xiaomi Ultra naturally adopts full Snapdragon 8 Elite and is paired with 12GB or 16GB LPDDR5X RAM. Either 256GB, 512GB, or UFS 4.1 is 1TB of storage. The new chipset provides 45% better performance and 52% less power consumption.
The new battery has an industry-municipality 10% silicone carbide material and its capacity has increased from 17% to 6,000mAh (global model is expected to be 5,410mAh unit). It keeps the same 90W wired and 80W wireless charging support as 14 ultra, though.
The display is a 6.73-inch 3200x1440px amoled panel with a 1-120Hz refresh rate and a bright of 3,200 notes.
Moving on the body – Xiaomi 15 ultra -black or white and a special silver chrome version. Black has a grippy texture back, while white has an etched surface.
The frame is CNC-crafted aluminum, while the glass Xiaomi has a shield glass 2.0, with a 16-time better drop resistance.

The Silver Chrome Special Edition Model uses aerospace-grass glass fiber and pueer to mold a modern premium smartphone in a classic professional camera.
The silver chrome is slightly heavy – 229g vs. 226g – and a hair thick – 9.48 mm vs 9.35 mm – compared to the other two models.

Let’s talk with cameras. Xiaomi 15 Ultra Leica -Tuped quad keeps the camera system and it is very similar in principle – you have broad, short telephots, long telephots and ultravide modules. But there are a large difference and two subtle.
The main camera packs the same 1-inch type 50MP Sony Lyt-900 imagers with 23 mm lens, although this year, it is a certain f/1.63 aperture, a variable f/1.6-f/4.0 not one. The mid-zoom option has the same 1/2.51-inch IMX858 sensor, but 75 mm f/1.8 lens is replaced by 70 mm f/1.8 one.
Ultravide, on paper, is a minor downgrade – where Xiaomi 14 Ultra had 12 mm f/1.8 lens, 15 ultra 14 mm f/2.2 optic – both have the same 1/2.51 – Inch Samsung JN5 sensor.
The biggest difference, and the largest upgrade comes as the new 100 mm F/2.6 zoom camera. It packs the same 200MP Samsung HP9 1/1.4-inch sensor as one behind the zoom in the Vivo X100 Ultra and X200 Pro and Ziaomi is larger than the 1/2.51 inch imagener in the 120 mm zoom camera of 14 Ultra. In fact, Xiaomi has put a number on improvement – 136% more light capturing!
The upfront is about 21 mm f/2.0 selfie camera with 32MP sensors.
All four rear cameras capture up to 30fps up to 30fps, while all cameras, selfies, which have 4K captured up to 60fps – main and 100mm telephoto cameras also up to 120fps up to 4K.
Xiaomi 15 Ultra runs Android 15 with the manufacturer’s Hyperos 2 software. It has an updated lock screen, home screen and updated system applications. Its hypercore technology improves performance, graphics, networking, and privacy, while hyperai brings equipment such as AI writing – a system -vested assistant who provides copy writing, text polishing and summary, transcaribing and translation of meeting.
Xiaomi will offer 4 generations of Android system updates for Xiaomi 15 series and 6 -year security updates.
