The starrer of Raja Saab, directed by Maruti, was initially expected to release on December 5, 2025. However, it now appears that the film can be postponed, with a new release date matching with Sankranti 2026.
To postpone King Saab starring Prabhas?
The Raja Saab manufacturer was recently seen at the trailer launch event for Mirai of Teja Sajja. During his conversation with the media, the filmmaker revealed that the film would kill the big screen on January 9, 2026.
If this is true, the Prabhas starrer will be directed by Anil Ravipudi along with Jan Nayagan of Thalapathi Vijay and most likely Chiranjeevi starrer Man Shankara Varaprasad Garu.

Raja Saab is an upcoming Telugu language film starring Prabhas in the lead role. The film includes Bahubali actor as a young man who is willing to do anything to cheat money.
In the hope of making easy cash, he decides to flip an ancestral property, only to find out that the property is haunted by his patriarchal former owner. Does he manages to avoid horrific situations, crucifies the story.
Along with Prabhas, the film will feature Nidhi Egrawal, Malvika Mohanan and Riddhi Kumar as women’s co-leaders. Supporters include Sanjay Dutt, Boman Irani, Zarina Wahab, Samuthikani, Venela Kishore, Brahmanandam and others.
Allegedly, the film has also been determined for the sequel, but more details have not yet been officially declared.
Prabhas work front
Looking forward, Prabhas is currently working on his period film, titled Prabhanu (Fauji), starring Sita Ramam director Hanu Raghavpuri. Flick has the facility of Eman Emell as a female lead.
Additionally, the rebel star soul is working closely with director Sandeep Reddy Wanga. Prabhas is expected to be taken on a large scale cartel as an angry young police officer in the Cop Action Drama.
While the full actors of the film have not yet been revealed, Triptai Dimri has been confirmed to portray the female lead. Salar in Prabhas: Part 2 and sequel such as the sequel to 2898 AD in its lineup.
