Comedian Eric Andre recently shared the story behind one of Hollywood’s greatest WhatsApp: IFFs played a role in turn, which eventually won Kiran Kulkin an Oscar. Speaking on the whiskey ginger podcast with Andrew Santino, Andre opened his decision to reject his decision to reject part in a real pain acclaimed by Jessie Easenberg’s critics – an alternative that now he believes that he regrets.

During the podcast, 42 -year -old Andre reported that two years ago, Jesse Eisenberg personally offered him the role of a Banghar couple, a vocal cousin. However, after reading the script, Andre realized that the dark tone of the film at that time was not right for him.

“I liked,” to go to Poland for six weeks and shoot a movie where we are just grumbling about Holocost, looks like a bummer, “Andre said. He said that when he appreciated the proposal, he did not think that it aligned with the kind of work he wanted to do. “Madaraf *** Er won the Oscar for the role he played,” Andre jokingly said. “It’s not that I get frequent roles. I am not **** ING Leonardo (Dicaprio).”

A real pain directed by Eisenburg, two cousins, David (Eisenburg) and Benaji (Kulkin) follows, as they visit Poland to honor their late grandmother. Inspired by Eisenberg’s family history, the film examines the topics of grief, existence and heritage against the background of Holocost. Originally, Eisenberg considered himself playing Benji, but was advised against it by producer Emma Stone, who almost persuaded Kulkin to stay on the project after returning due to family’s commitments.

At the Oscar, Kalkin in his acceptance speech thanked Eisenberg, “Jesse Eisenberg, thank you for the film. You’re a talented.”

While Eric Andre became an award -winning performance, he must have missed out that his clear reflection gives a glimpse of the difficult decisions facing actors when selecting the role. As a real pain earns appreciation, Andre’s story adds to a complicated “what can be” in its inheritance.
