Emilia Perez continues her nomination streak in the ongoing awards season as the film leads the Oscar list with 13 nominations. While the film starring Selena Gomez has been highly praised by critics, fans may be wondering about ways to stream the cinematic piece.
To end the wait, the makers have dropped the film on streaming platforms for the audience to enjoy the story from the comfort of their homes. Emilia Perez has been dropped on Netflix and Mubi.
Before earning a nomination at the Academy Awards, Emilia Pérez won trophies at the Cannes Film Festival and the Golden Globes.
As for the film’s cast, Gomez is joined by Carla Sofia Gascón, Zoe Saldana, Edgar Ramirez, and Adriana Paz, among many others.
Gascón won the award under the Best Actress category at the Golden Globes and during her gratitude speech, the actress thanked the trans community.

She said, “I chose these colors tonight – Buddhist colors – because I have a message for you.” The film star further said, “Light always triumphs over darkness. You can put us in jail, you can beat us, but you can never take away our spirit, our resistance or our identity. I want to tell you, raise your voice and say that I have won; I am who I am, not what you want (me to be).”
Emilia Perez will be competing against nine other films nominated in the category for the Oscar. The Best Picture category includes Conclave, Wicked and Anora, among others.
The Oscars are set to begin on March 3 at the Dolby Theatre.
