Meta recently launched its virtual assistant, Meta AI, in India. After the full roll-out of the service, Meta AI is now available for Indian users to use for free on the company’s apps – WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, and Messenger. The roll-out was a clear indication that these apps will use Meta AI to enhance user experience. The go-to messenger app, WhatsApp, is among the first to explore the powers of Meta AI. According to a recent report, WhatsApp is working on bringing a feature that will allow Meta AI to respond to photos and edit them. Before working on this update, the social media platform was reportedly developing an alternative feature to create photos of yourself using Meta AI.

According to WABetaInfo According to the report, WhatsApp is testing the implementation of a new chat button that will allow users to manually share photos with Meta AI, which will be released in a future update of the app. With this new capability, users will be able to ask questions about their photos, such as identifying objects or providing context. Meta AI will also provide a feature to edit photos, allowing users to edit their images by sharing prompts directly within the chat. It is worth mentioning that users retain full control over their photos, as it will be possible to delete them at any time.

This feature will help users get information about their photos by asking MetaAI. This feature will also eliminate the hassle of using another application to edit images. It will streamline the user experience, allowing users to make quick edits and changes to their photos within the app itself, simplifying the process and increasing efficiency. This feature is currently under development, but is expected to arrive soon.

The upcoming feature will allow users to take a set of photos that will be created with the help of Meta AI. Users will have to take setup photos that will be analyzed to create these images, ensuring that the generated images accurately reflect their appearance.

Users can ask Meta AI to create an image by typing “imagine me” in the Meta AI chat. Additionally, users will be able to use this feature in other chats by typing “@Meta AI imagine me”. It is worth noting that Meta AI cannot read other messages, as commands are processed separately, and the resulting image message will be automatically shared in the conversation by the app, ensuring that user privacy is always protected.

Meta is very serious about privacy concerns, and has asked Meta AI to follow suit. This feature will also be optional and will require users to opt-in. Users will retain full control over this feature, as they can delete their setup photos at any time through the Meta AI settings.
