Whatsapp for iPhone may soon get this long -lasting Android feature

Whatsapp users on iPhones will eventually be able to enjoy the feature that Android users have been using for a long time. Meta-owned messaging app is allegedly testing multi-account support for iOS, which will allow iPhone users to log into two different WhatsApp accounts on the same device. This means that you can use one account for individual chats and the other for work, all of this depends on the need of another phone or the work -raounds such as WhatsApp business.

For Android users, this feature has been a life guard since it started in October 2023. This allows them to switch uninterrupted between two accounts, without the need to cloning apps or several devices. Now, it seems that WhatsApp is working to bring the same feature for iPhone users. According to WABETAINFO, this feature is currently in development and has been seen in the iOS beta version 25.2.10.70. However, it is not yet available for testing, so beta users will have to wait a little longer to try it.

It is expected that the multi-couted feature will work on the iphones in the same way that it does on Android. The users will probably be able to add another account directly through the app settings. There will be two options – installing a new account from the beginning or scanning the QR code and linking it to an existing account. This flexibility will make it easy for people to manage multiple numbers, whether for personal, business or other purposes.

The biggest advantage of this facility is that it keeps all things organized in one place. Each account will have its own separate chats, notes, backups and settings, so there is no risk of mixing of things. This will be particularly useful for people with dual sim iPhone. Instead of getting entangled between WhatsApp and WhatsApp business, users will be able to manage both numbers within the main app.

Although this feature is still under development, it is clear that WhatsApp aims to create a consistent experience on both Android and iOS platforms. Once the test is completed, multi-couted support for all iPhone users around the world is expected to begin. However, it may take a few months to officially available.

For now, if you are an Android user and you have not yet tried this feature, it is very simple to set another account. All you need is a second phone number. Regardless of your main phone number, your primary phone also works. Just go to WhatsApp settings> Tap on the + icon next to your name> Tap on the account, and follow the on-screen signals.
