1. Cut into wedges

To cut a tomato into wedges, cut it in half. Take one half and cut it in two lengthwise to make wedges. These wedges are great for salads, soups, and stews.

To chop tomatoes, first cut them into two halves. Then cut each half into small pieces. After this, chop these pieces into smaller pieces. You can use chopped tomatoes to make gravy. Apart from this, after removing the seeds, the chopped pieces can also be added to fried vegetables.

3. Cut into slices

Always use a sharp knife when cutting tomatoes. Do not press the tomato while cutting it; instead, hold it gently with your fingers and cut by moving the knife around it. The thickness of the slices depends on your grip and the way you hold the tomato. The slices are ideal for sandwiches and salads.

To finely chop tomatoes, first cut them lengthwise into several pieces. Then, take one part and cut it lengthwise into several pieces.
