Rita Ora announced on Saturday, July 27 that her show at Campus Festival would be cancelled. On her Instagram Story, Ora wrote, “Please forgive this unexpected turn of events but sadly I will not be able to perform at Campus Festival tonight.”
She also revealed that she spent the previous night in a hospital in Budapest, where she was ordered by the doctor to take complete rest. Ora added, “I’m so sorry to my fans who are going to be there today and I’m really grateful for your understanding.”
Ora’s health condition has been largely unrevealed, leaving fans and the media clueless. The singer’s decision to prioritize her health was met with understanding and support from her fans. Ora’s performance was the main attraction of the concert, which began on 24 July and ended on 28 July.
Rita Ora’s recent performance in Lithuania
Before the event in Hungary was cancelled, Rita Ora was busy with her festival rounds. Just a day before, on July 25, she performed at the As Young As Vilnius festival in Lithuania. Ora expressed her joy and gratitude to her fans on Instagram, posting several photos from the event.
She wrote, “Lithuania, you blew my mind!! 50 thousand people, in the pouring rain, I appreciate every single one of you and the energy you brought.” Ora expressed her excitement about headlining the festival, calling it an absolute honour.
Despite the setback in Hungary, Rita Ora fans can look forward to her next performance at the Lovestream Festival in Bratislava, Slovakia on August 16. As of now, there is no confirmation that her health problems will have any impact on her performance at this or any future events. Ora’s team has not released any additional information about her condition or recovery timeline.
