In an emotional note, the actor wrote, “Dear Mickey… none of us living here have had a good night’s sleep ever since we found out what happened to you. There is an army of people in this society who love you and are working tirelessly to gather evidence against those responsible. We will not rest until they are held accountable and punished.”
Phadnis said that those responsible may have believed that no one would notice Mickey’s disappearance because he was disoriented. He said that dogs are an integral part of the community and many families in the society love them.
He continued, “They thought you were lost and that no one would care if you suddenly disappeared. But what they didn’t realize was that this Society is your home and you have many families that care about you. Now rest, little one. We will get to the truth and make sure your friends are safe.”
What happened to Mickey?
In an earlier video, Phadnis said that Mickey has been living in the housing society since 2019 after being abandoned by his original owners. Over the years, many residents had grown attached to him and regularly cared for and fed him, making him a much-loved member of the community.
Phadnis’ post said that residents are shaken by the alleged murder of Mickey, they are helping the police investigation, and want those responsible to be punished as well as ensure the safety of other stray animals in the complex.
