Bollywood veteran Hema Malini and Dharmendra’s daughter actor Esha Deol has received some of the most important lessons of life from her mother. She has learned the importance of being financially independent as a woman and why she should not fade romance from her life even after divorce.

Sharing the advice of her mother Hema Malini on romance, Esha told The Quint“A very sweet thing that he has told me, we do a lot of things in life-to do, self-care, everything. He said that one thing that is very important in life and should ever die is romance. He said that there is something that gives you to those butterflies in your stomach, it is feeling that we all want that I do not have advice, but I do not have advice in my head.”

Isha also explained Malini’s advice about financial freedom. “Always be financially independent, even if you are marrying a millionaire … but your own financial freedom makes the woman so different.”
