Ham and cheese is one of the most iconic food combos. Imagine taking a bite of a soft-crunchy sandwich, stuffed with gooey cheese and fresh ham. Dishes like ham and cheese pockets, pasta and quesadillas are also loved by non-vegetarians. What if one day someone offers you ham and cheese with ice cream? Would you dare to eat it? Recently, a content creator from Singapore, Kelvin Lee, shared a video on Instagram in which he tried this unique combo. “Let’s try ham and cheese ice cream. I got a good feeling about it,” he wrote in the video. The clip begins with Kelvin adding pieces of ham to three scoops of butterscotch ice cream kept in a bowl. This is followed by delicious cheese cubes.

With everything in the bowl, Kelvin Lee mixes them well with a spoon and takes the first bite. He nods his head, seemingly enjoying the salty dessert. To enhance the taste, the food connoisseur added some amount of mayonnaise to the mixture. “A little bit of mayonnaise is needed for the spiciness and creaminess to bring everything together,” he explained. Soon after putting a spoonful in his mouth, Kelvin gave the meaty ice cream a thumbs up and his reaction said it all. According to him, the dish had the right amount of sweetness and saltiness, plus it was “creamy and tangy.” At the end of the video, Kelvin urges foodies that ham and cheese ice cream is worth trying.
