Actors Govinda and Krushna Abhishek reunited in the latest episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show. A new promo of the Netflix show shows the ’90s superstar embracing his nephew, signaling an end to a long family feud. After this, both of them danced together and also made fun of each other for their disagreement in the first place.

Krishna had earlier visited his uncle Govinda in a hospital in Mumbai after Govinda was injured by a bullet earlier this year. The comedian and his wife Kashmira Shah have been talking about ending their family differences for a long time. However, it was in The Great Indian Kapil Show that the two finally seemed to reconcile.

At one point, imitating the famous fictional character Aladdin, Krishna, dressed in black, teased his counterpart, Kiku Sharda, who was dressed as a genie. And as soon as he started making fun of Kiku, Govinda interrupted him and jokingly told him ‘donkey (donkey)’. The audience erupted in laughter. Krishna hugged his ‘mother’ and told her, “We have met after a long time. Will not let you go now.”

The promo also showed a glimpse of Krishna’s sister and Govinda’s niece Aarti Singh sitting in the audience. Earlier this year, Govinda attended Aarti’s wedding, ending their seven-year long estrangement.

Govinda was also joined by his contemporary actors Shakti Kapoor and Chunky Pandey in the show. The three stars of the 90s pulled each other’s legs and shared interesting stories of working together in many films.

This special episode is going to air on Saturday, November 30 on Netflix.
