Popular band Coldplay is set to perform in India soon, and their recent concert in Abu Dhabi was a preview of what was to come. During the concert, frontman Chris Martin noticed a familiar message on a sign held by a Diljit Dosanjh fan in the crowd.

In a short video shared by Diljit’s team on Instagram, Chris Martin is seen on stage Seeing a sign from a fan in the audience. He reads out loud, “Punjabi aa gaye oye,” which makes the crowd cheer. Then he adds, “We love you too.”

The Punjabi phrase “Punjabi Aa Gaye Oye” (Punjabi has come) is a phrase coined by Diljit when he performed at Coachella in 2023. Diljit became the first Punjabi singer to perform on the prestigious stage. Since then this phrase has become the slogan of their global dominance.

Coldplay will return to India for their Music of the Spheres tour. They will first perform in Mumbai on 18, 19 and 21 January. After this Mumbai, They will rock Ahmedabad on 25th and 26th January. It marks their return to India after eight years since their last performance at the 2016 Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai.
