Hrithik Roshan, Junior NTR, and Kiara Advani Starr War 2 have started their advance booking at the US box office. The YRF film is trending well and is likely to open a bangar at the box office.
War 2 Hits 170K USD of pre-cells in North America
Till 8 am (3 August, Sunday), War 2 sold more than 5500 tickets in 1585, which were on the show at 580 places in the US. The film recorded pre-cells of 150k plus USD. While the total advance of War 2 for the North American premiere show reached 170K USD. More spaces are yet to open advance booking.
The film is expected to see better jump in the coming days. So far, War 2 advances are similar to Salman Khan’s Tiger 3 and Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunky. Unlike the other two titles, Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR starrer are releasing in two languages in the US-Hindi and Telugu.
The film is likely to cross the USD 200K mark by tomorrow. It will be interesting to see how far War 2 can go from here, as the film is still 11 days to release.
War 2 Opened much later compared to cool in America
When compared to the coolie, war 2 is far behind American advance booking. However, one should note that Ayan Mukherjee’s direction has initiated its pre -sales in the region, while the Tamil film had opened ups for the Tamil film since mid -July.
For records, Rajinikanth’s Cool has already achieved a historical achievement by becoming the fastest Tamil film for the premiere show to hit USD 1 million pre-cells at the North American box office.
War 2 and Cool are ready for a head-to box office clash on August 14, 2025. Both films are considered to be the biggest stakes of the related film industries this year. It will be interesting to see which of them opens up and finally leads the conflict.
