In short

  • Google has increased the price and can charge Android apps
  • Maximum pricing available for developers of over $ 1 million in Play Store Revenue
  • Earlier in the Play Store, Seema was $ 999.99

Anchion Android app developers! Google has just charged users in Google Sla Store and has increased Android apps. Developers can now charge a fee of up to $ 4,999.99 – which translates about 4 lakh rupees in India – for users for their apps and subscriptions. This price hike was first declared in the previous year’s Google I/O 2024, and now it is officially rolling out.

Earlier, Google offered the Developers App to priced by $ 999.99 – a roof that was raised from the earlier $ 400 range. However, this latest update is the biggest leap to date, effectively maximum value developers can charge. He said, there are some important warnings.

Not all is allowed

Now before you assume that the Play Store will soon be filled with overpressed apps, note that Google has implemented stringent norms to achieve access to this extended pricing extent.

According to Google’s official announcement, developers must meet three major requirements to qualify:

Active account with obedient apps: The developer’s Google Play account should be in good condition, in which there is no policy violation.

policy compliance: All apps and commercial practices should follow Google Play Developer Program Policies.

Proven Earning: Most importantly, the developer would have earned more than $ 1 million in revenue on the Play Store within the last 12 months.

If your app fulfills these conditions, you can present a formal request through a specified form. In this form, “Google Play Developer Account ID, Package Names of Special Apps, for which you are requesting high price limit and clear and detailed justification, such as you will include information like” Google, “Google says” Google. ”

In particular, the new Play Store app pricing limit is not only to purchase the standalone app-this also applies to in-app purchase and membership. This means that high-end equipment, services, or enterprise-level apps can also pay themselves at the premium, provided they pass Google’s eligibility check.

However, while pricing is available in its local currency counterparts in various countries, South Korea remains a remarkable exception. The price cap in that area is still limited to old $ 400 (or local equivalent) due to local rules or policy decisions.
