Actress Angelina Jolie said she hasn’t dated since her divorce from Brad Pitt in 2016. While promoting her upcoming film Couture, she expressed her feelings about finding love.
Nearly a decade after her divorce from actor husband Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie has shared a rare glimpse of her personal life, revealing that she has not dated anyone since the split. The Oscar-winning actor said she’s focused on raising her six children, though she now feels she’s starting to rediscover parts of herself.
Jolie made this comment while promoting her upcoming film CoutureIn which she plays Maxine Walker, an American filmmaker suffering from breast cancer who unexpectedly finds love.

talking to yahoo entertainmentJolie said, “To be honest, I haven’t dated since my divorce a decade ago. So if I’m focused on my kids, my family, I feel like that aspect of me is not the focus in my life.”
She said that, for the first time in many years, she feels like she is beginning to embrace a new chapter.
She said, “So yes, things are changing, but in a way that I didn’t expect. It doesn’t feel like I’m 51 and starting to think about getting older. I’m thinking that I want to live again. Be free again. In a way, maybe life has broken me a little bit. I’ve become something different than I used to be.”
Jolie also talked about her daughters’ role in that trip. She said they have encouraged her to reconnect with the person she was before life focused on motherhood, helping her consider the values she hopes to pass on, including strength, kindness, confidence and courage.
According to Jolie, her daughters now want to see her not only as their mother but also as a woman with her own identity, dreams and interests. Their support, he said, has inspired him to revisit parts of himself he had pushed aside for years.
Jolie and Pitt have six children – Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, Knox and Vivienne. The former couple’s relationship ended after Jolie filed for divorce in 2016 after two years of marriage. Since then, he has largely kept his personal life away from the public eye, focusing on his family and career.
