Awaaz dialed the country’s attraction with just two music icon fans. The NBC’s hit singing competition series announced that Grammy-enthusiast legends would serve as Mega Mentors of Lean RIMS and Sheryl Crow Season 27, stepping to guide the contestants and their coaches during the playoff rounds.
While Crowe coaches Kelsey will lend their expertise to the teams of Balarini and Michael Bubble, RIMS will mention the teams of John Legend and Adam Levin. Each coach will enter the playoffs with five artists. Following some high -stage performances, the coach will select two artists of their teams to proceed to Live Show.
Both Crowe and RIMS took their respective Instagram handle to share the news. Sharing the poster of the NBC show, RIMS wrote, “Let’s go to @nbcthevoice.”
Both the new, RIMS and Crowe are not strangers for voice stage for the US version’s mega mentor lineup. RIMS first won the 13th season in October 2024, coaching both the Voice UK and Voice Australia. Blends Pop, Rock, Country and Folk, which brings his own legacy to the table, first appeared as a mentor in season 4 and performed several times in the show.
The title of mega mentor has previously gone into industries like Taylor Swift, Keith Urban, Reba McAntire and Jennifer Hudson.
Season 27 also marked Adam Levin’s return to the voice coaching panel after a five -year gap. Earlier in the season, each coach tapped an advisor to support his team during the fight. Michael Bubble Tony Winner La’ad to Synthia Erivo, John Legend R&B singer and bell-air star Koco Jones, Kelsey Balaryini invited the Country Group Little Big Town, and Lewin joined his long-time friend and high school classmate Kate Hadson.
In the previous season, EGOT winner Jennifer Hudson advised the teams of Bubble and Reba McAntire, while Rockstar Sting advised Snowup Dog and Guen Stephanie’s teams as mega mentors.
The Voice shut down its season 27 knockout on Monday evening, and 20 artists qualified for the playoffs. Every Monday on NBC, new episodes of voice premiere and stream on peacock the next day.
