The Vivo X300 Ultra has just officially arrived! It continues the refinement of the series and does not deviate from the core specifications of its predecessors.
That means, its camera system has gotten better with both better hardware and software, but it’s basically the same 14mm + 35mm + 85mm premiere-quality setup.

The Vivo X200 Ultra brought a larger 1/1.28-inch 14mm ultrawide sensor, and the The 85mm zoom may look similar – 200MP at 1/1.4-inch – but it uses Samsung’s new ISOCELL HP0 sensor, which brings twice as fast autofocus (Vivo claims 60 AF updates per second), lower power consumption and debuts. 3° gimbal-grade OIS, which Vivo says achieves a CIPA 7.0 stabilization rating.
Then there’s the new main camera. It’s still a classic Reportage 35mm focal length, but sits in front of a larger 1/1.12-inch 200MP Sony Lithia 901 imager (vs. 1/1.28-inch 50MP)—about 1-inch longer and four times the resolution.
In addition to the sensor, the lens uses a new, industry-leading 1G+6P coating technology, which Vivo says reduces reflectivity by 20%. It also has a CIPA 6.5 rating for professional stabilization.
Finally, on the lens front, Vivo has two new teleconverters to go with the There’s also a new photography kit, called the Vivo Imaging Grip Kit – we have a practical tool here.

There are two other imaging improvements to talk about – video and Vivo’s new color science. The Vivo’s log format is compatible with ACES Pro post-production workflow.
Vivo has developed a new photography app, which features a 3D LUT library for different color styles. In addition, the
Vivo’s new Color Science first takes readings from a new 50MP True Color lens with 12 spectral channels, enabling pixel-level color and tonal accuracy. From there it gets a little technical. A Smooth EV Dynamic Compression algorithm intelligently reads multi-frame HDR data to preserve highlights and protect tones. From there, Vivo’s color science can tailor the results to suit you personally, more filmy, or vivid, or something else; It depends on the manufacturer.
