Vishnu Manchu starrer Kannappa has been slated to hit theaters on 27 June 2025. Next to his release, actor appeared in a special interview with Pinkvilla, leaving details about his prestigious film DK sequel.
Speaking in the interview, Vishnu reflected on his upcoming ventures and said, “I have not thought of any project after Kannappa. There is a period of time that has been set in 1947, and we want to pull it.”
Apart from Kannappa, he is not worried about anything, stating that the actor continued in DHEE’s sequel. He said, “The director and I am trying to get together. I will do that film within the heartbeat, but I hope one day they will come with a script.”
He said, “Finally, the script is the winner; everything goes with the script. If I get the script, I will go for the next day for the morning shooting,” he said.
For those unknown people, DHEE (also spelling as DEE) is a Telugu-language film released in 2007. Vishnu Manchu and Genelia Deshmukh were in the lead roles in the action comedy venture directed by Srinu Vaitala.
Flick is the story of a happy and lucky man who always gets into trouble. Due to his personality, his father gave him a job under a local mafia leader as his accountant.
However, he falls in love with Don’s sister, who is in danger from a rival gang himself. Does their love story move forward and manage to save the girl.
Moving forward, the next film of the actor is a fantasy film directed by Kannappa, Mukesh Kumar Singh. Based on the legend of Kannappa from Hindu mythology, the story describes the story of the transition of a non-caste person in life to become one of the most enthusiastic devotees of Lord Shiva.
As Vishnu’s title character, the film performance in the film has actors like Prabhas, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar and Kajal Aggarwal. Apart from them, Mohan Babu, R. in a contingent of artists. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav and more are included.
