Actress Anushka Sharma celebrated Royal Challengers Bangalore’s latest IPL win with an emotional post for husband Virat Kohli. RCB successfully defended their title on Sunday by winning the Indian Premier League for the second consecutive year after their win in 2025.
On Monday afternoon, Anushka took to Instagram to congratulate Virat and the team. She shared a picture of herself with Virat holding the trophy and kissing his forehead while smiling. He did not write any message with the post and only used victory hand sign, heart and joining hands emojis in the caption.

The picture immediately gained attention on social media and crossed 1.7 million likes within an hour of being posted on Instagram. The post came a day after RCB’s final against Gujarat Titans, which ended with celebrations as the Bengaluru team won the title.
Soon after the final, Anushka had shared another picture of Virat celebrating in a T-shirt, which read, ‘It felt good once, we did it twice’, along with a heart emoji. The video of Anushka dancing with the RCB team after the win also soon went viral.
There was celebration on and off the field after RCB won their second consecutive IPL title, with Anushka’s social media posts and dance videos becoming a part of the moment.
The win is another historic achievement for RCB, who became the third team in IPL history to successfully defend their title, joining Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. Led by Rajat Patidar, RCB restricted Gujarat Titans to 155/8 before chasing down the target with five wickets and 12 balls remaining.
